Fear of flying

I am terrified of flying and have avoided going abroad on holiday for about 4 years. We have now booked a holiday to greece and the nearer it gets to the date the more I am dreading going. I want to be excited and buy things for the holiday but I am so frightened that I think I will end up cancelling it...I have even started to hope that the travel company will go bust and so we will get a refund! People have suggested hypnosis but I am not sure it will work. Can you help?
