Concern about weight gain caused by medication

(12/11/08 11:19:10)

I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol and am borderline obsese. I am taking the following medication: Rosuvastatin 20mg, Lisinopril 20mg and Nebilet 5mg. I have recently been prescribed Nebilet and have noticed a steady increase in weight despite my efforts to eat healthily and take more exercise. Could my increase in weight be attributed to Nebilet, being a beta blocker or simply a combination of these medicines? Or am I simply getting gaining weight because my efforts to slim down are not effective?
