How are you?
17th September 2009
How are you?
For one of our first blogs, we want to talk about you and how we can help you to start feeling better.
On a regular basis, we all hear the greeting, "hello. How are you?" Often, our programmed response is to answer "I'm fine thanks, how are you?"
However, most of us are not fine. At any one time, we may be suffering from aches, pains, illnesses or worries that we have long since accepted as 'facts of life' and not something to be discussed in response to a simple greeting.
The good news is that there are a myriad of different techniques, products and lifestyle adjustments that can ease the suffering of the 25 million people in England alone who are living with a long term condition.
The first step towards treatment is to talk about what ails you to someone who can help.
That's where we come in. We want to hear from you so that we can ensure when someone next asks, "hello, how are you?" you can say "I'm fine thanks" and actually mean it.
You can contact us in a number of ways depending upon your requirements:

Alternatively you can click on one of the free information topics that appear in green down the left hand side of the website.
Remember, this blog is for you. As such, we welcome your feedback. Also feel free to suggest future topics that you would like us to discuss.
Now prepare to start feeling better.

well done Susan you have already lost 2lb that must really motivate you to wrap up warm and keep walking! When my dog died last year I stopped going out for walks and soon noticed the weight creeping on. I now walk my neighbours dog so I get the exercise and so does Casper while my neighbours are working. We are both happy.
Hello folks, following your advice I am on my second week of increasing my activity levels. My target of walking to work every day has resulted in me feeling better when I get to work and I have lost 2 lb in weight I am feeling really motivated at present. Thanks!
Hi love the site. The info is fab I just need to decided ( with the help of you guys) when I need to start to make a few changes to my life! I think if I start now I might see the difference in the new year and I might have a better future. Good Luck to anyone else out there who is having a tough time.
Thanx and will try to keep it together now. Would like to see info on how to move on from here cheers
Thanks FOR your help AND I will definately keep intouch. The answer AND information have been very helpful Lottie
I don't know if it IS that people ARE too busy OR that people just seems TO have MORE problems these days. Whatever happened TO a simple life? Ever DAY I turn ON the TV TO find MORE doom AND gloom TO terrify me before I have even got dressed, it IS enough TO make anyone feel stressed
Hi LionX thanks for commenting and we certainly hope you find the website helpful and informative!
Nice website! You are soo right....everyone is too busy to listen and so you feel like you don't want TO bother people going ON about your problems. I will try you AND see if it helps!

Hi, BJ what a fab idea, I think I will ask one of my neighbours if I can walk their dog from time to time. It is a top tip. Cheers!
